Williams Associates was established in 2008 by Stephen Williams, building on nine years’ prior experience in the auctioneering and surveying profession throughout Monmouthshire.
Stephen qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2000 and is also a Registered Valuer, holding professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). His career combines professional expertise with a deep-rooted understanding of rural land and agriculture.
Raised on a mixed livestock farm near the town of Usk, in the heart of Monmouthshire, Stephen is the son of a farming family and has practical agricultural experience from an early age. He is a graduate of Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, where he obtained an Honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. In 2000, he achieved full professional qualification as a member of RICS.
Alongside running Williams Associates, Stephen remains actively involved in farming. He has established a herd of Pedigree Belted Galloway cattle and a Pedigree flock of Beltex sheep, in addition to managing a commercial sheep enterprise. This continued hands-on involvement ensures practical, informed advice for rural and agricultural clients.
