Welsh Government has announced the Basic Payment Scheme in its current form will continue for 2025 in Wales (subject to sufficient funding)

KEY INFORMATION FOR 2025:

> ONLINE BPS APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FROM EARLY MARCH 2025

> ENTITLEMENT TRADING FROM FEBRUARY 2025
Surplus entitlements can be sold or leased

Williams Associates are fully up to date with the latest information and changes, and are able to provide advice and practical support on all aspects of the Basic Payment Scheme. This includes:

  • Submission of BPS applications
  • Mapping checks on ineligible features and boundary changes
  • Entitlement/Land Transfers
  • Customer Registration
  • National Reserve Applications
  • Preparation of agreements to ensure you meet the ‘Land at your Disposal rules’.

Williams Associates are now trading Welsh Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements.

About Us

Williams Associates was established in 2008 by Stephen Williams who had worked in the auctioneering and surveying profession in Monmouthshire for nine years.

A Farmer's son, Stephen was brought up on a mixed livestock farm near the town of Usk, in the centre of the County of Monmouthshire. A graduate of Harper Adams University College, Shropshire, Stephen gained an Honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. In 2000 he became a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
